THE TEAM
Meet the people in our organization that are dedicated to keeping your business or enterprise up and running. These are just some of the people that help keep people safe across the country.

Jeff Wooten
President
In 1999, Jeff Wooten saw more than just cables—he saw potential. What began as a small cabling company in Kentucky grew into Data Link, launched in Indiana over 20 years ago, with a clear vision: to move beyond infrastructure and create smarter, safer solutions for organizations of every size. His passion for protecting people and strengthening connections has since positioned Data Link as a trusted partner for corporations, healthcare systems, and educational institutions.
As President, Jeff not only oversees day-to-day operations but also shapes the company’s future. He’s driven by the belief that technology should do more than function—it should solve problems, foster security, and create peace of mind. The values he built into Data Link from the beginning reflect that belief, guiding the team to serve clients with integrity while attracting talent who share a commitment to innovation and collaboration.
When Jeff isn’t in the office, you’ll find him fishing, golfing, or enjoying time with his family.

Based in Indianapolis and working out of Data Link’s Evansville headquarters, Scott leads the sales team and serves as General Counsel. His career began in structured cabling before he honed his project management skills in the U.S. Air Force.
As a veteran of the USAF, Scott was awarded National Defense Service Medals for his service during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Combine that with more than 35 years of total experience in technology and 28 years’ sales experience at a Fortune 500 company, and you get a rare blend of leadership, legal expertise, business acumen, and technical knowledge. He’s long admired the values that Data Link’s President models—humility, integrity, authenticity, flexibility, innovation, and transparency.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of La Verne, his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana Wesleyan University, and his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University. He is a licensed attorney in the state of Indiana.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys time at their family’s lake cottage with his wife, their two daughters, and the family dog. He and his wife are avid travelers, having visited all 50 states and many overseas destinations covering four continents.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Franklin University and a Master of Science in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University.
